Eating at El Tlayero is like taking a direct trip to the heart of Oaxaca. Their tlayudas are an authentic delight: crispy, charcoal-cooked, well served and full of flavor, just like the traditional ones. Every bite is a memory of home, and the entire experience—from the atmosphere to the seasoning—makes you want to return again and again. The photo says it all: my friend enjoying a tlayuda with that smile that only good food gives. If you are looking for real Oaxacan food, this place is not to be missed.

There's nothing to fault with the tlayudero. The place is spacious, although a fan would be appreciated during the hot weather. It's clean, and you feel comfortable upon arrival. The servers are attentive, mostly young, but they don't have that angry expression on their faces. On the contrary, they are friendly and attentive. That's always appreciated, especially if it's your first time visiting a place. The food is delicious and has good portions. You'll have a wide variety of dishes to try. We ordered memelas and tlayudas with grasshoppers, delicious. Perhaps the only thing I would ask for is to add avocado and tomato to the tlayuda to give it a little color and moisture. In reality, the tlayuda is very delicious. Maybe that's my problem, as my friends would say, "that's your problem." Maybe they're right. I've had the opportunity to visit five tlayuda places, and that's why I dare to recommend it. The food is delicious and doesn't seem all greasy like other places. I think it's a great place to try, and if you're craving something, this is it. There are some small details I recommend they improve. I also think they should add more ice to the flavored water. Nothing that can't be improved quickly and easily. There's no parking, but you can park nearby. If you can't find a spot, as the younger generations would say, "right there," on the corner, you'll find a parking lot that charges 25 pesos per hour or 80 pesos for free. You can also park your own parking lot. I'll leave you with the photos so you'll get a taste of this place. You won't be disappointed. The people are friendly. I'll sign off. My name is Dante Miranda, and I'll see you until the next review.

How not to visit a taqueria while in Mexico? Based on these reviews, I've picked this place. Despite arriving late and past the seating time before closing the owner made it's best to accommodate my wife and I I enjoyed a quick beer and delicious fresh tacos. Seating is a bit limited Overall a great experience having dinner there
